Background.

Graham Searle is (full-time) Chairman of The Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club, the world's largest Jaguar
cl

W
ednesday, 4th August, at Pegeia Town Hall and, as you have seen in Yiorgos's e-mail, Graham has
ask
ed if we can provide some classic cars to carry the key players to and from the ceremony. lain
McA
rthur is to co-ordinate the Club involvement.

General outline

Three large cars are to pick up the "bridal group" at their hotel and deliver them to the Pegeia
Munic
ipal Car Park. The remainder of family and friends will be transported by a separately
arr
anged bus. During the ceremony, (not before!) as many Club vehicles as are available shall
assemble in th
e car park and form a surprise cavalcade to escort the bridal group cars and bus from
there to the r
eception venue, which is the Doria restaurant, near The Cynthiana Hotel (65 on the
Touri
st Map). Having spread joy and happiness, and dropped the wedding group at The Doria, Club
memb
ers who wish to shall process to the Sunset Taverna near St Georges for a meal.

Bridal Group.

The available Club cars most appropriate from the size, doors, etc, aspect are Steve's RR, David
Culpin's Jag and
lain's Daimler Sov. Any others - please advise. Only these cars need ribbons etc
althougt
rPe~te's Box may lead the convoy as a novelty?

Wedding guests.

It is envisaged that some wedding guests may wish to ride in Club cars, if invited. To that end, extra
seats may be off
ered if Club co-drivers and passengers ride in the bus to The Doria.

Dress.

It is suggested that Bridal Group drivers wear club shirts and long, light-coloured trousers.
Remainder - normal dress including one top hat!

Hospitality.

Graham has invited the Bridal Group drivers (he does not know about the others) for a drink at The
Doria. We shall decline on the basis that we have a meal arranged elsewhere.

Our meal.

To keep it simple (and together), The Sunset is tasked to provide a buffet-style souvla chicken and
pork meal with salad starter and dessert. Cost not yet finalised but reasonable. Drinks on individua
l
bills.

Warning in.

If you can join in, please advise lain Mc, with meal numbers and any special diets, on 25 934419 or
